Pouria Paknejad is an AV-Preeminent® rated trial attorney and a

litigation, personal injury, and privacy law. He has appeared as a legal
expert on Fox, ABC, CBS, KTVK-TV, KAZT-TV, and KTAR-FM and has been quoted in The Arizona Republic and InBusiness Magazine.
A long-time leader in the Arizona legal community, Pouria was
elected to the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Arizona in 2017. He also
serves on the editorial board of the State Bar’s Arizona Attorney magazine and
is a member of the Supreme Court Commission on Judicial Performance Review. He
was appointed judge pro tempore for the Arizona Superior Court in Maricopa
County (2016-2017 session).
From 2011 to 2013 he served as president of the North Phoenix
Bar Association, and from 2014 to 2016 he served as vice president of the
Phoenix chapter of the Iranian American Bar Association.
Pouria has delivered COJET and CLE seminars on topics ranging
from trial practice techniques to attorneys’ fees under A.R.S. § 12-341.01 and
personal injury claims.
Lead plaintiff’s litigation counsel for a U.S. Customs and
Border Protection officer who was seriously injured when struck by a
semi-truck. Settled after large-scale discovery showed that the trucking
company had a history of not servicing trucks that were in disrepair.
Lead plaintiff’s counsel for a large South Korean textile
manufacturer against its Arizona distributor. Settled in mediation (Anaheim,

estate dispute in U.S. District Court (Arizona). Tried to conclusion,
obtained a defense judgment, and recovered attorneys’ fees for client.
Lead defense litigation counsel in claim for fraud, false
light invasion of privacy, and breach of contract. At pleadings phase, case
dismissed with prejudice (U.S. District Court, Arizona).
Lead plaintiff’s counsel for an Arizona business in a
contract dispute against a California company with $4.2 billion market
capitalization. Settled in mediation (San Francisco, California).
Lead defense litigation counsel in a real estate dispute
concerning Arizona’s antideficiency statute and valuation of comparable
properties. Tried to conclusion, obtained defense judgment, and recovered
attorneys’ fees for client.
Lead defense litigation counsel in a third-party debt
